I think this is a great idea, and we're just beginning to use it. I'd love to see some more people get involved - maybe we need some advertising. Or at least some pictures.

I do feel, though, that there should be at least 2 admins to help ensure continuity in the face of life's ever-shifting sands.

I've increased the font-size slightly. If the page tags are useful then they stay - but what I have done is restrict the number in the side-bar to 12. The full set (currently 15) can be accessed by clicking the "Page Tags" section header.

I also totally agree with you that there's a world besides Windoze. My home machines all run Linux, some in multi-boot configurations. I run the Kubuntu distro primarily on this, my main development machine, though it will also boot into Fedora, Slackware, Puppy and PC-BSD - not forgetting (though I try to) WinXP.

2-4: I'm not sure whether or not a Wiki is the solution. I wanted something like a vBulletin forum, but perhaps a Wiki can be just as good or better. I'm unsure only because I'm not too familiar with Wikis (as a contributor, anyway; I've read plenty of Wikipedia).

I think it's worth a try.

The initial impetus was from a CV member, who said in TCVP Comments:"…you could enter a game idea and then other users could review it and make suggestions, but not changes this would make the site quicker maybe you could have an idea where someone enters a game idea and others enter more ideas for that game so it would multiple authors and everyone who was a contributor could help with the game."

I think this format is ideal for both. We coulld easily have a theory section, and a sandbox section in which to build specific games, either singly with comments, or cooperatively. I look forward to doing both.

My own responses to these are:

1. Not sure if there's a need but there's no harm in having a supplement.
2. The answer to this is down to the community itself. For my own part I see it as an opportunity to discuss the subject of CVs, their classification, design, boards, pieces, and implementation, in general; rather than the rules of any one CV or the properties of any particular piece.
3. I think the Wiki format is ideal for a such a site.
4. To echo David Howe, Seems like a good solution to me.
